WebRTC Broadcaster: User-Friendly Streaming

WebRTC, the default platform on CamSoda, is ideal for both desktop and mobile streaming. It's particularly recommended for new models due to its ease of use. This platform automatically connects to your audio and video upon launching once browser permissions have been allowed, but your stream goes live only when you hit the green 'Start Stream' button.

Key Features:

  • Desktop Controls: Includes camera flip, microphone mute toggle, camera and microphone selector, resolution settings, Cam2Cam toggle, chat room access, user viewing, and room settings adjustment.
  • Mobile Controls: Similar to the desktop version, with additional options like a camera button, a 3-dot menu for managing private discounts, PM settings, VS invitations, and social media integration.

For a more polished and professional look, advanced broadcasters may want to try streaming through OBS. See this article for more information.
