Sell Recordings of Your Public Stream
CamSoda offers the option to sell recordings of your public streams, providing an additional income source. To enable:
- Scroll to Tokens & Show Settings on the Settings & Privacy menu.
- Locate Public Show Recordings.
- Set your preferences for recording availability and token pricing; be sure to scroll and tap SAVE.
- Viewers will be able to record public shows for 5 to 30 minutes.
- If you go offline before the selected duration ends, members get a refund for the unused time.
- They'll receive the recording to their media collection after it ends.
You may be prompted about allowing Public Recordings when you enter your broadcast room.
You'll get a chat notification when a recording is purchased. The tokens are held in the CamSoda escrow account before being transferred to you, ensuring secure transactions.
To prevent content leaks, public recordings are watermarked with the purchaser's username, allowing us to address any violations effectively.
